Physical Computing for Kids – Level 2

Learning outcomes

After completing this curriculum, students will get a betting understanding of physical computing, gamification, algorithms, logical reasoning, and conditional programming with the help of a variety of coding activities.The activities in this curriculum will help them develop important skills such as problem-solving, attention to detail, abstract thinking, communication, and empathy

Students will be introduced to the basics of physical computing with the help of engaging coding activities based on ARDIUNO

  • Lesson 1.1 - Digital Input/Output in Scratch
  • Lesson 1.2 - Analog Input/Output in Scratch

Students will get to further explore TFT screen by coding their own clock

  • Lesson 2.1 - Draw shapes on TFT Display
  • Lesson 2.2 - Animating Shapes on TFT Display
  • Lesson 2.3 - Digital Clock using RTC (Ardiuno Alarm Clock)

In this section, students will code three advanced games on their own in Scratch and play them based on Ardiuno

  • Lesson 3.1 - - Shoot the Bat (2 Lectures)
  • Lesson 3.2 - Dodge (2 Lectures)
  • Lesson 3.3 - Space Battle Game
